A long History in Peru

Two Friends Meet
During mymy first trip to Peru in 2011, I Showed up with very little gear and lots of enthusiasm. I met a Peruvian Kayaker who showed me the rivers of his home town. Over the years we have gone on many trips together in Peru and in the United States. On an expedition in the Apurimac river we came up with the idea of Peru Kayak Adventures. We want to share our passion for Peruvian overnight kayaking with the world!

Who We Are

Ted Was born in the USA and fell in love with kayaking at summer camp as a boy. He has kayaked in South America and New Zealand and worked as a guide on the Payette River in Idaho.

Pedro was born in Lunahuaná, Peru and grew up next to the river. He has founded kayak schools for children in Peru. He has traveled the world as a raft and kayak guide.
